Why come
There's more than this.
You carry a lot. People depend on you, and the list never really ends. It's rare to get even an hour that's actually yours, let alone a weekend.
This retreat is that weekend. A chance to step away, sit with the Lord and with other women, and let yourself be encouraged instead of always being the one doing the encouraging.
Whether you're curious about who Jesus is or you've followed Him for years and feel worn thin, there's a place for you here. Women leave refreshed, renewed and empowered. We can't promise what God will do; we can promise to make room for Him.

The next Women's Retreat will be held Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon at Clara Springs Camp & Conference Center in Pelican, Louisiana. Dates will be announced here as soon as they're set.

Faith isn't a performance, and this weekend isn't one either. There's nothing to prove and no one to impress.
Come as you are, questions and all. Make space to listen, to rest, and to meet Jesus in a way the busyness of life rarely allows.
What to expect
Here's what we can tell you.
Centered on Jesus
Everything points back to Him. The Bible is open, and the teaching is honest and practical.
Worship
Singing together. You don't have to know the songs, and you don't have to sing.
Real conversation
Time with other women to talk, listen and think, without anyone forcing you to share more than you want to.
Shared meals
Good food, around the table, with people who quickly stop being strangers.
Indoors and out
Most of the weekend happens indoors, with some sessions outside under the Louisiana pines.
Room to reflect
Quiet moments to think about where you are and where you're headed.
The rest we'll leave for you to discover. The weekend means more when you don't know everything that's coming.
Leave the noise at home.
We ask everyone to leave their phones, devices and watches behind for the weekend.
That sounds hard. It usually turns out to be one of the best parts. No notifications, no scrolling, no checking the time. Just space: to listen, to think, to pay attention to God and to the people in front of you.
You'll be surprised how much room opens up.
After the weekend
Come for the weekend. Leave with friends.
Some of the best things about this retreat are the women you'll meet: from different churches, different stages of life, different stories.
Many of those friendships last well beyond Saturday. Women to pray with, laugh with, and lean on when you need it.
Prepare
What to bring.
Dress casually and comfortably. Plan for Louisiana weather. Your meals, snacks, soft drinks and water are all taken care of.

- Personal medications
- CPAP/BiPAP equipment, if you use one
- A flashlight
Clothes
- Comfortable, casual clothes
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Rain jacket or umbrella
- A light jacket for air-conditioned rooms (optional)
Bed & bath
- Bedding for a twin bed, or a sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Bath towel and washcloth
- Toiletries and a shower bag
- Flip-flops for the shower

- A short extension cord, if needed
- Earplugs (optional)
